Emily Elizabeth Designs
WEB DESIGN
I first began learning web design when I was 15. I started a blog and began teaching myself simple HTML coding. By age 16, I began doing web design for Bloom!, an online magazine. Since then, I have sharpened my web design skills throughout college. I have learned a great deal through courses as well as handling some web design for the Oklahoma Water Resources Center, ThinkWater, and the Oklahoma Sports Turf Managers Association during my time working for the Oklahoma State University Horticulture and Landscape Architecture Department. In addition to this website, I have designed a few other sites for clients as well.

I currently have experience using Wix, GoDaddy, Plone, Blogger, and Wordpress.

As with any design project, visual appeal and functionality are key while also well representing the client's business. It is also important to design for accessibility keeping in mind site visitors. Additionally, when designing a site, search engine optimization of pages and properly sized images are vital.

Through my education and experience, I not only have web content management skills, but also the ability to create written and graphic content for the site I am designing.
